Director and CFO

Ernest has extensive experience in venture capital, corporate finance, business development, legal, IT, financial and general management. He brings with him a successful track record in venture investment by investing in Computer & Technologies (HKSE 0046) with a tenfold capital return within three years. He was also one of the key team members in executing a US$2.2 billion financial restructuring and asset injection of Dongshen Water Supply Project in Guangdong Investment Ltd (HKSE 0270), which earned several acclaiming awards, including the "Best Restructuring Deal in Asia in 2000". Moreover, he carried out a major spin-off in ASTRI with IRR more than 150%. Recently, he successfully handled the financing for KVB Kunlun from pre-IPO, IPO, selling controlling stake, general offer and transfer to the listing board.

Prior to joining Zyetric, Ernest has been the President and Group Chief Financial Officer of KVB Kunlun Holdings Limited (“KVB”), and has also been the CFO and Company Secretary of its listed group company, KVB Kunlun Financial Group Limited (HKSE: 6877). He is also in charge of Group financial management, corporate finance function, IPO, IR, fundraising activities, M&A and general management and operation. Currently, he is also the Independent Non-Executive Director & Chairman of Committees of several listed companies. Besides, he serves as the board director of Adamas Finance Asia (London Stock Code: ADAM, previously known as China Private Equity Investment Holdings Limited (“CPE”)) and he is one of the founding members of CPE. He also served as the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of CPE before October 2011. Adamas is a listed investment company in London AIM market focusing on private equity investment. Before joining CPE, Ernest was the Chief Financial Officer for ASTRI and held management responsibilities for ASTRI's overall financial, legal, IT, business development and corporate finance functions. Before joining ASTRI in 2002, Ernest was vice president for Vertex Management, focusing in venture investment in communications, IT and electronics sectors.

Ernest earned his B.B.A. degree from the University of Hong Kong, received his MSc in investment management from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and MSc in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Ernest is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK; and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a charter-holder of Chartered Financial Analyst, US and a member of Hong Kong Security Institute, HK.
