Patrick has brought in over 20 years of technology research and management experience to Zyetric. He has held top managerial and architect roles in several telecommunications and software companies in Silicon Valley, Vancouver and Hong Kong since 1999. Prior to founding Zyetric in 2017,

he cofounded P2 Wireless Technologies, where he led the company to raise over USD$4M of funding and become one of the leading wireless mesh networking technology companies in the world. Patrick has sold majority of his shares in the company to Alltronics Holdings Limited, a public company in Hong Kong, in 2016, and is currently serving as the director and non-executive chairman of the company.

Patrick is the co-author of the Physical-layer Network Coding (PNC) technology, which has been selected by Google Scholar as one of the 10 “Classic Papers” in the field of Computer Networks and Wireless Communications in 2017. He has also received the Hong Kong SME's Youth Entrepreneurship Award in 2015 and is the holder of over 15 US patents,

many of them in the artificial intelligence field.

Patrick has received his PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, his Master degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada,

and his Bachelor degree from the University of California, Irvine, USA.

In terms of public service contribution, Patrick is the industrial supervisor for various Master and Final Year Project students for The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and he also serves as the Panelist for the Expert Review and Steering Committee of The Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies.
